Jeff has decades of experience in the outdoor adventure industry as a facilitator, trainer, installer, and inspector with Signature. He is well versed in industry standards, gear applications, and troubleshooting different system types making him the ideal person for helping outfit our clients with gear for their unique operations.

Michael Johnson is the CEO and Co-Owner of Nature Outfitters, where he leads with a passion for outdoor recreation, experiential learning, and operational excellence. With over a decade of experience in the challenge course and aerial adventure industry, Michael has helped shape Nature Outfitters into a trusted provider of high-quality outdoor experiences and equipment.

In addition to his leadership at Nature Outfitters, Michael serves as Chief Operating Officer of Signature Research and Phoenix Experiential Designs. His work spans the design, construction, and inspection of aerial adventure courses for a wide range of clients—including camps, universities, hospitals, commercial venues, and military installations across the U.S. and abroad.

Before entering the aerial adventure space in 2013, Michael spent 13 years in utility construction, gaining deep expertise in infrastructure and project management. He is also a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the leadership and discipline that continue to guide his work today.ult
